PALAZZO MADAMA, TORINO-ITALY
Official residence of the two Royal Ladies since the 1640s, the castle was renovated several times. The decoration of the apartment of Maria Giovanna Battista of Savoy Nemours saw numerous artists confront themselves with different decorative models, while the hall, set up between 1713-1714, celebrates the sovereign Vittorio Amedeo II in the transition from duchy to kingdom. Palazzo Madama was hit during the bombing of 13 August 1943.
Palazzo Madama is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is part of the Residences of the Royal House of Savoy
Furthermore, Palazzo Madama is part of the European Network of Museums of Medieval Art
