Rare vanity dressing table designed by Gio Ponti for the rooms of the Hotel Parco dei Principi in Roma
manufactured by Giordano Chiesa, 1964
two drawers
ash, laminate, nickel-plated brass- sold without the table mirror on top (destroyed)
inscribed to reverse ( under the drawers) number in blue crayon
and a Gio Ponti “602” chair by Cassina, 1954 ( see description in a different lot in the Gallery)
Measures: H 75.5 cm, 94.5 x 46.5 cm (with the drawer);
good condition
Provenance: this item coming directly from the original furniture of the Hotel PdP
copy of original invoice of the Parco dei principi Hotel is available on request
sold with a copy of certificate of Lisa Licitra Ponti
